I
was given a barrel of vintage barbie patterns (many from the 70's) and
several items that were cut out and a few things that just needed to be
completed like this dress. Using one of the patterns I made this pretty dress from a white muslin and hemmed it with red lace. Very simple it slips on and ties around the neck with white
satin ribbon.
How much fun!!

my dresses come from my smoke free home. We have recently adopted a
lovely stray female kitty who had 2 kittens in our home. I do most of my
work in a studio at my husband's office but I do wash my fabrics at
home and I can not guarantee that there is no little kitty fur in my
washer or dyer.
My love for history
and books has given inspiration for many of my items!! God has given me
this gift that I love to share with you.
