Toroid core for power transformers in SMPS, Resonant circuit in 1 Khz to 2 Mhz, Wideband transformer in 500 Khz to 30 Mhz, RFI filters in 1 Mhz to 40 Mhz.
Widely used by amateur radio operators to filter out RFI noise in the 3 Mhz to 30 Mhz range by wrapping cables over the cores. Put in as many turns can the center hold can fit.
