The majority of the vinyl I sell is of Collectable condition (EX or better)

I pride myself in selling high quality vinyl records of collector’s quality. They are all graded to the official Collectors guide, used by the industry. I grade both sides of the record and also under a strong light. So if the record is advertised as excellent then both sides of the vinyl are graded EX or better. I do not normally sell any records below VG only if they are very collectable. Please also have a look at my reviews.

Grading’s are advertised as follows :-

EX/VG - The first letters refer to the condition of the sleeve and any inners. The second letters refer to the vinyl condition.

EX – This has no picture sleeve and is the grading of the vinyl only.

Combine postage & Packing

I can and will combine postage. Most of my vinyl is “Buy it now” therefore if you want more than one item buy the items and I will send a final value invoice.

Mint

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Un-played should be Mint. Nr Mint condition, the vinyl has no noticeable marks but has been played. Sleeves and inners have no major signs of wear and or creasing.

Excellent

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
