My wife bought this for me about 5 years ago and I have BARELY USED IT.  There  aren't any worn marks on the pads so there is plenty of life in it.  It was mostly just sitting out in the closet until I realized it makes no sense to keep it if someone can use it.  It works with USB and I tested it out just before I packed it and it works great.  You can use this to trigger other samples while playing another kit or just play out a MIDI beat with pressure sensitive pads.
