Pretty used worn patina with STUNNING REMARAKBLE 4 stripes , The bead shows superb natural banding. It is now incredibly difficult to find beads in this size in such excellent condition.

Tibetans value this type more than the other decorated agates that were traded to Tibet from India in ancient times. The colour of the agate material, Unique to the Himalayan regions and distinct from other known bead making industries like we find in Burma. These Himalayan beads have now become incredibly scarce and now seldom come into the marketplace for sale.Condition: Very Good with minor weathering and ancient medicine nik at one end. No breaks or repairs. The reddish line on the bead is a natural crystalline band inherent in the stone. It is not a crack.
