The upper construction is formed from a durable, water-repellent Polyester material, helping to protect from partial rain showers and puddles. This material extends from the heel to the forefoot and toes for a superior fit and feel. Its locks the foot in place with its High hook-and-loop cuffs, helping to keep mud out and protect the ankles simultaneously. With the simplistic velcro strap, there is also the integration of a speed toggle adjustment which allows to further secure the foot within the shoe. A Funky graphic is placed over the Polyester material at the midsection and toe's, this provides an abrasion resistant coating that fights through rocks and root, keeping the material intact and reducing wear and tear. It also act's upon torsion to maintain the shape and form of the shoe. Through technical design, the Vibram Spyridon MR Elite Running Shoes is fitted with an Injection PU In-step brace. This is placed over the metatarsals to provide a confident stability lock to secure your feet, even when the shoes are wet. Midsole/Outsole - 3D cocoon nylon mesh/MegagripTaking on the trails with ease the Spyridon MR Elite is fitted with an Anti-Microbial Drilex Sockliner. Helping to keep the interior footbed clean from bacterial microbes and allows for key cushioning support. The midsole construction on' the other hand, utilises a Molded 3D cocoon nylon mesh, a technology molded into the sole for lightweight protection. This adds a "rock block" effect dispersing impact over a wider area, providing key protection to the underfoot and arch. It stops rocky and sharp terrains from penetrating the rubber and allows the foot to be guided through a natural alignment. Finally the outsole platform gives greater traction and control thanks to the 5MM Vibram Megagrip outsole.
