Madison Fielding Stereophonic High-Fidelity AM FM Tube Tuner Preamplifier With Matching Tube Power Amplifier

Up for sale is a Madison Fielding Stereophonic, High Fidelity "Hi-Fi", AM FM tube tuner preamp, with a matching Madison Fielding tube power amplifier. The set is in great working order and operating as it should. The unit has been tested and the audio was clear and very sweet with a warm bass in both channels. The chassis, faceplate, plugs and knobs are all original with the usual minor scratches and nicks from use, see photos. All tubes tested good in my calibrated Hickok TV-7/U tube tester. The power amp uses: (2) 12AX7 drivers (different US made brands), (3) 7189 + (1) 6BQ5 output tubes. All pots, switches and selectors have been cleaned and lubricated. Please note that tuning meter does not work. All transformers are 100% original. The tube tuner/preamp is about 14 1/2" wide, 8 1/2" deep and 8" high. The power amp is about: 14" wide, 5" deep and 5 1/4" high. This is an excellent tuner/preamp & power amp that looks like it has been well cared for and operates as it should.
