Offered for sale, a very desirable Man's 1994 MIT Massachusetts Institute of Technology Class Ring. It is known as a Brass Rat. This ring is very crisp and has little to no wear. It is a size 9 1/2 and weighs 17.1 Grams of 10K yellow gold. The ring is in 3 parts, as are all MIT Class Rings. The face design is changed every year. The front has the Brass Rat or Beaver atop his lodge with crescent moon overhead. The Moon has 94 in one direction and 69 on the other side. One side of the ring has the MIT Frick & Frack Logo, and the other the Dome and 1994 date. The edge at top feature the skyline of Cambridge and on the bottom the skyline of the City of Boston. Some consider a MIT the 3rd most recognizable ring in the world behind a Super Bowl Ring and the ring of the Pope. My next door neighbor graduated from MIT in 1951. When I saw his ring and he explained the Beaver I've always admired it.
