Very clean and original automatic movement Calibre 6217A, non-hacking with quick-set date running consistently and keeping very accurate time as it has just been fully serviced. This highly renowned in-house Seiko movement was also respected for its reliability & accuracy by military personnel during the Vietnam War.

The watch is in very good cosmetic condition with a very clean original dial. Minor dings/scuffs to case & back as clearly shown and seems a bit threaded when screwing it down. This is the best early example we've had of this much sort after Seiko "62mas" which is highly favoured by enthusiasts and dates to around January 1966!
