This movement is marked No Jewel  made in Korea. Sau Jin Ltd. Dae Woo Ind Co. Ltd dated 1979.   

   Springs are wound on this movement so I do not believe they are broken.  This movement comes with a set of hands as well . The hour hand gear is loose so it just spins with no resistance .  The 

minute hand is okay .   The clock does strike when you push the minute hand to the hour and half hour.
