This is a high quality commercially manufactured broken case remover for the .223 Remington and 5.56 Nato.  It is a close copy of the military one that came in maintenance kits for machine guns.

A broken case with the head extracted and the body and neck left in the chamber is not an uncommon occurrence in many rifles especially with the slightly larger chambers in some military rifles and in cases that have been reloaded a number of times. This tool is just inserted into the chamber like a normal cartridge and the tip will grip the broken case while the rifle's extractor will remove the tool.

Will work in all ..223R (5.56) chambered rifles both military and sporting.

Shooters should always have one of these in their range bag while hunters should carry one as a broken case in the field can really spoil a trip.
