Description
and application:
The
device can control the devices connected to the bus DMX512: lasers,
dimmers, moving heads, smoke generator, LED PAR , LED tape, analog and
digital converters, and other devices compatible with standard DMX512.
The interface is connected to the computer's USB connector and the
other end of the XLR-3 connector (XLR-5) is connected to the first
device DMX512 (socket DMX IN) and from DMX OUT socket cable is
connected to next device to DMX IN socket. Each device DMX512 has got
adress so the data reaches the appropriate channels.
DMX512
application running on your computer to operate DMX 512 provides
control of lighting and effects (brightness, flash frequency, rotation,
movement trajectory XYZ coordinate the entire set of lights, time
sequence or reaction dmx channel to the music. List of sample

Effects
and capabilities of the interface:
- The interface can handle up to 512 channels of
DMX512, it is more than standard consoles ,
- According to oppinion of many DJs effects on
interface + Dmx512 application (like Freestyler DMX512, QLC +
MADRIX, Martin Light Jockey, etc.) are equal like on
expensive consoles
- Some applications offer the ability to view 3D
programmable effects
generated video / 3D animation before the equipment is physically
mounted .
- For users who start working with lighting control

for them are very easy to use (control channel values with sliders),
including those who previously operated on consoles and ended channels,

Detection
of the DMX 512 applications:
Due to
the compatibility with the standard interface and OPEN ENTTEC DMX512
(automatically detected in DMX512 applications or set as OPEN ENTTEC in
more than 100 applications). If configuration of usb/dmx512 is correct
in application DMX512, LED TX in interface flashes at a high frequency.

Another
way is configure as ARTNET node thanks to OLA SERVER, the interface is
connected to the USB port on your computer( based on Linux or Mac OSX)
with running the OLA SERVER. On the computer on which the application
is connected via DMX512 protocol ARTNET (ethernet cable, Wi-Fi), give
it the ability to control light from the other place of the world. This
is especially convenient when programming the outside lights of
building, in this case light programmer see whole effect only from wide
view.
Hardware requirements and supported operating systems:
- Today,
every computer produced computer / laptop after 2003 year will support
this interface (USB 1.1 or 2.0)
- Drivers
for chipset-in FTDI (interface based on the company's system from the
