The TTS-1WCR60 is a premium quality universal 1 Watt LED bulb upgrade designed for maximum light output built to our specification. This LED upgrade is the brightest available universal 1 Watt replacement for the standard bulb, to fit a variety of high voltage tool torches.

This is ideally suited to Bosch, DeWalt, RIDGID, MAKITA, HITACHI, BLACK & DECKER. Please note this bulb is not compatible with the Milwaukee or Metabo work lamp or the Ryobi CFP-180S 18V worklight and does not fit the Makita ML900 torch with the 9.6 volt old bayonet style bulb

The TTS-1WCR60 features:-

  • 120 Lumens of light output - LED brightness is vastly higher than the equivalent incandescent 1 watt bulb in the same power torch

  • Utilises the premium performance CREE XP-G2 LED (brighter than the old Cree XP-E version which we used to sell in 2011 and 2012).

  • Operates on a high voltage range of 6 to 30V DC

  • Consistent brightness and colour regardless of battery condition

  • Does not fade significantly when hot

  • Electronic regulation for rock steady light output

  • Never burns out - an incredible 50,000 hour life expectancy (6 years of constant use!)

  • Shock-resistant, much more durable than the incandescent bulb

  • Produces pure white light even when the batteries are low

  • Longer battery life results from the circuit built into the unit which completely utilizes the power from the batteries, whilst maintaining constant light output.

  • The LED upgrade has reverse polarity protection.

  • Dramatically extends runtime (between a factor of 6 to 12 depending on the power of the bulb it replaces)

  • Easy fitment, just a straight exchange for the original bulb

  • The light produced will only dim near the end of the batteries' lifetime. It only gradually fades, not a sudden drop out of light

The LED bulb has polarized contacts with the positive supply to the base (typical standard torch set up), however if the contacts are connected in reverse the LED will not light but no damage will be done and the LED will work when the polarity is corrected. We do not know of any tool torches which need the polarity changed. This bulb has reverse polarity protection.

This LED upgrade is superior to the competition due to the CREE LED. Cree is the world leader in LED technology. Cree LEDs deliver unmatched brightness, colour quality, consistency and efficiency (lumens per watt). The vast majority of high end torch manufacturers now use the CREE LED.

This is the bulb for you, if you would like your torch to run for up to 30 hours from a single charged battery, be near indestructible and never nead replacing. It probably is not the bulb for you if just need a few minutes of very bright light from time to time. The pictures above are an accurate comparison between the LED light output and the original bulb in a 14.4v Bosch torch. The throw of the LED will vary between torch models and is likely to be different to that of the original incandescent bulb, generally speaking the larger the reflector the thinner the beam will be.
