The Cat-lilac system uses lower holding tank instead of pee pads.  When tank is full (about 1 month), just pour it in your toilet. Much cheaper and less messy than replacing pee pads. You can use your favourite deodorant in the tank.  And you can use your Breeze litter in the top box.
