Up for sale is my stealth black 2013 Tarmac frameset. This is an awesome frame, very light, stiff and fast! BUT...... there is a crack on the left seatstay that should be repaired.

I bought the frameset used in July 2014, when it was just a year old. It was 6 months before I could afford to build it up, finally doing so with Dura-Ace 9000 - what a sweet bike!! Unfortunately, at that time I noticed a hairline crack at the seatpost clamp slot. It seems either the previous owner or my bike shop over-tightened the clamp bolt. I sent the frame out and had it x-rayed and professionally repaired, even though the crack turned out to be just in the paint layer. That paint touch-up has flaked just a little (see pictures), but the carbon repair is great and stronger than before. When I had that repair done I asked the shop to touch up a small chip on the down tube, close to the BB on the right side. The paint touch up was not so great (it is really hard to match the matt black finish), but you don't notice it when it is a complete bike (see picture of spot).

About 6 months ago, I noticed a crack developing on the left seatstay. I decided to just keep riding the bike and have done so until now without any issue. I recently got a deal on a new frameset through my club, so the Tarmac is up for sale cheap!!!

Other than the aforementioned, the frameset is awesome. It rides amazingly and when built up looks really great. It is not perfect, it is used and does have a few blemishes, but I have taken really good care of it and wiped it down with baby wipes every second ride! It has relatively new BB bearings and rear derailleur hanger. I will include the aluminum BB adapters to accept the Shimano 24mm crankset.

Disclaimer: I rode it cracked, but I am not suggesting or recommending anyone else do the same, that would be your decision and at your own risk.
