I will only have 2 sets of these. Once they are gone, that's it for awhile!

These covers I designed and drew myself.  I was inspired by the 1928 Floral Pattern used on early Nationals from the late 1920's.
These are resonator parts to build your own 3 or 4 string Cigar Box Resonator Guitar.

The cover is polished Stainless and can be even further polished for a mirror like shine, or you can distress it for a vintage look. If you sand it with 400 you can paint it black and then sand the paint off to give it a rustic look. It comes with the same aluminum cone I use in all my guitars, it is anodized aluminum and has that trademark vintage pop and sound.

These are the original Cigar Box resonator parts and handmade in the USA. These are ~ Old Lowe ~ Made In Rockwall Texas. The cone is anodized aluminum.

This is the original cigar box resonator brand. The only place on planet earth to get this is if it is made by Mike Lowe in Rockwall Texas.

These parts measure 7 and 1/4 inch across and you can add this to a neck thru guitar, no need to make a sound well, these are super easy to build with. It is made 1 'inch shallow so they can be added very easy to any cigar box or homemade instrument, even if it's your first time make a resonator guitar, these are real easy to build with.

I have a How to build DVD ( sold separately ) that shows you how to I use them to build my cigar box guitars.

This will build both a 3 or 4 string guitar. This auction is for 1 cone and 1 cover only and sold together as a bundle.

No instructions included. No other parts are included, no pickup, no hat, No DVD, no box...and certainly no guitar!

You will need to make those things or buy them, I do cover how I make homemade metal parts such as hats and tail pieces and odds and ends parts on my DVD (sold separately.)

Or go without, you DO not need a pickup or hat ...a resonator is loud on its own. You do Not need a pickup.

These are hands down the best parts for building a cigar box resonator guitar. They are better sounding than using a cat bowl, they also sound better than steel paint can lids and covers.

*** I would like to add that I am not discounting those other parts and sellers in anyway, as the cat bowl resonators are super cool! I think that is the essence of homemade, taking found parts and making guitars...but these ~ Old Lowe~ Resonator parts are the original cigar box guitar parts and the metal used on these covers and cones is vastly superior in tone.

Anyways, thank you for reading this and your consideration and time, here as a video sample.  If you have any questions email me anytime.

The 3 string Lessons DVD is called "Understanding 3 string guitar." It covers all the playing styles heard in Blues guitar playing, both slide and finger style to help you get that old time vintage sound. Even if you've never played guitar before, it's never to late to learn how to play cigar box guitar, even if you are 70!

Slide guitar is basically just one finger guitar. You can learn to play theses guitars, It is not hard at all.

The How to Build DVD covers in-depth how to build 3 & 4 string cigar box guitars. These guitars are just as much fun to build as they are to play. Anyone can build a great guitar, even on you first time if you have correct instruction and explanation, you only need a few common hand tool that most people already have.

I also have 2 different Cigar Box Guitar music CD's,

The best way to learn how to play great cigar box guitar, is to listen to cigar box guitar music.

One is called "Dust Bowl Blues." This is an all Delta Blues an all cigar box guitar CD recorded mostly with 3 sting cigar box guitar, it's all cigar box guitar and Blues music.

The other music CD is called "Cigar Box Americana." This is old time Delta Blues and Southern Bottleneck cigar box guitar that has been recorded on both 3 & 4 string cigar box guitars and also using vintage amps and Retro Radios turned into amplifiers.

All of the music and videos I have recorded are only on the topic of Cigar Box Guitar, no regular guitars are used.
