MkII lltralight cuben fiber lantern weighing 8g. The Mk1 light was hugely popular but your feedback highlighted it was difficult to maintain the 3d shape due to how light the fabric is. The addition of dyneema grid  base gives the required rigidity and also allows the reflector to work more effectively providing a brighter lantern with a softer area type luminosity.

A great way to give light in your shelter. I use these on my hammock ridgeline, inside my trail star or under a tarp. Gives a really good light for reading and admin tasks at night. Made from 0.3oz Cuben Fibre with a dyneema X Grid base and finished with dyneema cord, micro cord lock, internal aluminum reflector and a mitten hook for hanging anywhere.

Light is dual use so you can have it on permanently with the switch or press the sides for short bursts of light. Short burst mode is handy for in the night if you need to reach something. Takes 2x cr2016 which are cheap as chips. batteries included. Please undo the cord lock and remove the light unit to turn on as using the switch through the cuben will degrade it over time. Top tip - once you tighten the cord again put the lantern to your lips and puff gently to give the best shape.

Batteries are replaceable and ive found the best thing for the small screws is a screwdriver for specs which weigh nothing and are cheap as chips. plenty on ebay but i hope to make it an option soon

MkI was the Probably the most popular item ive ever made and even generates its own fan mail :) I expect you to like the MkII even more. Please check my other items for tons of light weight loveliness and please feel free to share my items with other UL enthusiasts via facebook or twitter using the icons on the top left of the listing. It really helps get my name out there

Cottage made gear from the UK.

I post to the UK, Europe, Canada and USA. Other countries on request.  I will always combine postage at cost plus packing materials so contact me if you can't make the automated system work for you. i can't promise same day postage but I try my best. Most things ship same day if ordered before noon but I put 2 Days on the listings to cover myself. I'm often away at weekends in the hills so Friday comes with a warning that it may be a Monday dispatch.

I can't currently accept custom orders as they take infinitely longer than making stock items.

All my gear is inspired by things that I needed but couldn't get or that was only available outside the UK. I don't make ridiculous amounts of money at this and I think my prices are keen.

lastly, ebay isn't my full time occupation. I do not always have the time or the inclination to replace items once sold out so if you like what you see push the button to avoid disappointment.

Thanks for looking in and happy trails.
