Mercedes A/CLA/GLA45 BCS Large Bore Downpipe - Full Decat
Carbonwurks have been working with the boys at BCS for a number of years now and there is a clear reason why we keep going back with development parts, and that is quality. The BCS Mercedes 45 range downpipe and mid pipe is no exception and is one seriously impressive piece of kit.
After months of hard work from the guys at BCS they have brought out their downpipe to mid pipe with either a full decat or sports cat option. The downpipe makes a big difference to the exhaust noise bringing a more raw note along with bigger and louder crackle and pops. Throttle response is also increased and has the potential of yielding better performance out on the road too. The decat downpipe also comes with a life time warranty!
The downpipe is a 100mm design with no catalytic converter that will give the best possible gains along with a downpipe to mid pipe which runs over the front axle. The components feature machined billet parts and the pipework is wrapped with 1200 degrees Titanium thermal wrap to keep engine bay temps down and exhaust gasses up. Keeping the exhaust gasses hot running through the pipes increases air velocity which in turn can help performance.
These downpipes really are made to the highest possible standard with the finest stainless steel available. Designed and manufactured right here in the UK and he decat downpipe also comes with a life time warranty!
With this downpipe and mid pipe kit includes a Carbonwurks custom Lambda sensor spacer that helps defeat the engine warning light that is often seen with less restrictive catalytic converters. We have been running the sports cat version downpipe for many months with our spacer and no errors come up. We cannot say for certain however with the decat that this will defeat the error. A remap however can get rid of the emissions warning permanently.
Please note that there is a 7-10 day lead time once an order has been placed.
Fitting can be done in 2-3 hours but it is recommended a professional undertake the job.

Here at Carbonwurks we design, develop and produce full Prepreg Carbon Fibre parts as well as offering CFRP (Carbon Fibre reinforced polymer) parts too for mainly the automotive world. However this is not the only thing we offer.
Some parts that are not under stress or load donít necessarily need to be made out of full Prepreg Carbon Fibre, and for this reason we also offer a lamination/skinning service to turn original parts into Carbon Fibre.
Alongside the Carbon Fibre parts we also design other automotive components and retail only the best automotive performance products that we see fit.
Q) How long does it take to receive my order?
If the parts are in stock then dispatch usually can be the same or next day. Some parts however can be ordered on backorder but may take anywhere from 1-5 weeks to dispatch due to manufacturing times. Please be aware that estimated delivery times may vary depending on how busy the workshop is and that during particularly busy periods, these deadlines might be extended. Please ensure that you supply an e-mail address on ordering and we will e-mail you to notify you when your items have been dispatched. Once items have been dispatched, delivery within mainland UK is next day. International orders can take 2-6 days for delivery. We send all of our products using insured and tracked methods so there are no concerns for you if any products are lost or damaged in transit.
Q) What happens if my order is lost or damaged by the courier in transit?
We always send items using insured and tracked methods, so thereís no risk to you at all. Just let us know about the problem immediately and weíll arrange for a new part to be sent in exchange as soon as possible. Please ensure that you check the goods before accepting them from the courier or alternatively sign for the parcel as unchecked. If the goods arrive clearly damaged please either refuse delivery or sign as damaged with clear photos to be taken before unwrapping the packaging.
We hope you will be happy with your purchase from Carbonwurks, however should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is returned to us in a completely unused condition with all packaging, etc.
Returns should be made within 14 days and supplied back to us in the original, undamaged packaging.
If we find that the product has not been returned to us in the supplied condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item(s).
We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on any specially ordered or customised products and any returns that are made not due to a product fault (damage on arrival etc) will incur a 25% restocking fee.
Please note we do not refund delivery charges under any circumstances.
We accept Paypal transactions directly through eBay or our website which can handle card payments too even if not a Paypal account holder.
Bank transfers are also accepted, please contact us for invoicing and details.
Payment must be made in full before the item(s) are released.
