Inspired from the comic artist, Adam Hughes and the Woman of the Marvel Universe, we present the Exclusive Black Queen Comiquette.
Sideshow is proud to introduce the latest Adam Hughes Iconic 'Pin-Up Style' female character for their Comiquette Line of Collectibles. This Sculpture is taken directly from the concepts and designs of Adam Hughes by the Sideshow Design & Development Team.
Selene's first comic appearance was in New Mutants, Vol. 1, #9, November 1983. She was the creation of writer Chris Claremont and artist Sal Buscema.
Selene Gallio is a super-villainess from the Marvel Comics universe. She is a mutant, and an enemy of the X-Men and often associated with the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle. With the help from one of her worshippers, Friedrich Von Roehm, Selene forced the Hellfire Club to coronate her as the new Black Queen. The Black Queen had the following Superhuman abilities: Telepathy, Telekinesis, Animation and control of non-living materials, Flame manipulation, Reality warping, Ability to drain the life force of others and Extensive magical knowledge and powers.
The Black Queen Comiquette is hand cast in high quality, heavy weight polystone. Her majesty's impressive dimensions are 16.5"H X 9.5"W X 9.5"D overall and weighs approximately 11 lbs. boxed. Of course the Dark Seductress is lovingly hand painted & finished to exacting standards which Sideshow is famous for.
The Black Queen is beautifully portrayed in her naughty Dominatrix black costume, comprised of her laced body hugging bustier, black leather thong, black boots, long sleeve black leather gloves with a red rose, spiked collar, black leather whip with tails, swirling black & red cape, tied-up red hair, red lips and luminous green eyes create her sinister visage. She stands atop a simple round black display base with red brick flooring.
