The blade is in very healthy, generally clean old polish,

robust, thick & stout massive wide blade,

just very healthy, perfectly flawless solid & very sound !




Total blade length : 33-9/16"


Nagasa/cutting edge :  25-5/16"  & very razor sharp !

 Tang : 8-1/4" 

Blade thickness at the habaki notch : 6.82 mm thick

Width at the habaki : 1-3/16"+

Width at yokote level : 15/16"

Hamon : a beautiful & well controlled big Gunome-Choji-ba on both side

Hada / grain : a very well forged clear fine Itame mix


Blade exhibit some beautiful & very clear activity's all over-it !

 

Blade condition : in generally fairly clean old-polish, thick, very healthy & flawless !


With no kizu/flaw, no chip, no nick, no bend, 

no crack/hagire, no blister, no opening,  

the blade is just & simply perfectly solid & very sound, 

very healthy wide thick & flawless, 

just mix with minor light old surface scufs/scratches & stain

but with absolutely no problem of any kind !

Solid good intact handle + big real good intact clean same/skin

Solid & intact dark-green silk Ito/wrap

Old good saya/scabbard with all matching silver fittings as well, all intact & original, 

very nice dark-red-lacquer, generally clean & in very nice condition,

mix with some minor small chips/nicks in the lacquer as expected but all small & minor.

 + new first class silk sago on scabbard black & green.


Mounts are very nice & very attractive, 

generally very clean & in a good very nice solid & sound condition, 

showing some minor wear & tare from age with a nice patina !
