Postage

Shipping cost:

We offer FREE postage within the UK. This is 2nd class Royal Mail postage. If you need to receive your item quicker then you can select to pay for different postage options. Overseas postage is automatically calculated within the shop.

Items ordered before 5pm are usually dispatched the next working day. Royal Mail 2nd class postage is expected to be shipped within 5 working days, this can be longer over busy periods such as Christmas and bank holidays. Overseas shipping is dependent on where you are based. Please contact us for a clear idea as to when your item will be delivered as this could be up to 6 weeks after order.

UK orders ? Please note we are unable to report a lost or delayed item with our delivery company until 10 working days after dispatch. This is because the item can still be in transit. For this reason a refund would not be processed before at least 10 working days after dispatch.

Overseas orders ? Please note we are unable to report a lost or delayed item with our delivery company until 20 working days after dispatch for mainland Europe or 25 working days after dispatch for the Rest of the World. This is because the item can still be in transit. For this reason a refund would not be processed before at least 20 or 25 working days after dispatch.

Should your item(s) not be delivered within time frames set out above then please contact us and we will start the refund process. If your item is not received you will receive a full refund. You may be contacted by the Royal Mail after this as we will raise a lost item case directly with them to recover our lost funds.

Overseas customers ? Please note the The Lyons Den customers are responsible for any customs charges or import duties payable on receipt of international packages. If a package is refused by the customer, or returned due to non-payment of any charges or duties, or the provision of an incorrect address, any charges incurred by The Lyons Den in shipping and recovering the package may, at our discretion, be deducted from any refund later given for the order

Returns

If you receive an item that is damaged upon receipt you must also advise us upon receipt. You will then need to arrange the return of the item to us. We will refund the return postage to you as long as you provide us with a copy of your original invoice and your postage receipt. This can be e-mailed to us.

If you receive an item in error you must advise us upon receipt. If this error is our fault then we will refund the return postage to you as long as you provide us with a copy of your original invoice and your postage receipt. This can be e-mailed to us. If the error is not our fault the return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase then contact must be made to shop@thelyonsdenshop.co.uk within 30 days of your purchase.

Should the item need to be returned then the customer is responsible for the return postage and returns will only be accepted if the items are in their original condition.

Should you fail to adhere to the returns policy The Lyons Den reserves the right to set any refund amount given. This may not be the full value of your order.
