I bought this horn new in 1980, used it for college 2 years, then it got little use for 10 years.  I've played it in church orchestra's off and on for the past 20 years or so, so it has a few small dings and lacquer wear.

I had a Blackburn reverse leadpipe put on about 20 years ago, one Clifford Blackburn recommended himself, it's the most popular one, #19-348, however it is raw brass.  I also bought the rounded tuning slide for it, so it's very free blowing.  I am including the original tuning slide as well if you like more resistance, but no spit valve.

It has the 43 bell, a bit brighter sound than the 37, a ML bore, and the serial number is 173920.  I find it much easier in the upper register, and the sound just resonates beautifully.  The valves are a little noisy, but compression is good.  There's quite a bit of lacquer wear where the hands hold the horn, but no red rot or damage to the integrity of the brass.

The horn comes with no case or mouthpiece.
