Great SEGA GENESIS Model 1. TESTED, CLEANED in and out with PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED S-VIDEO AND STEREO 3.5 JACKS in the back. This unit plays like new!  

This unit is a "High Definition Graphics model 1", which means it uses a discrete Yamaha YM2612 resulting in sound output with a perfect balance of high bass and clean high-ends. 

 

This unit has been cleaned inside and out however it's a vintage system and has minor scuffs and scratches.

 ALSO PLEASE NOTE THE RF HAS BEEN REMOVED TO INSTALL S-VIDEO AND STEREO AUDIO PORTS. 

 

 S-Video is superb quality over composite video or RF.  The Genesis outputs composite video through the  DIN port in the back but you need a special cable and does not have the best video and stereo output.  This installation has been done straight from the video and audio processors from the Genesis so it bypasses any signal loss.  No more trying to play your Genesis games with a fuzzy image! 

All mods were done directly on the motherboard with no cosmetic mods to the Genesis Console Shell. This allows for full compatibility with Official Sega Power Base converter, Sega CD and 32X.

DON'T SETTLE FOR A CHEAP CLONE ! !   To get everything the game developers wanted you to get you need an original system ! Some clones change the colors and sound on games and are cheaply made. Others like retron 5 are just emulators. This Sega just works (granted your games are clean) you insert the game in and hit the power and play your games.  NO more black screen !
