This auction is for the NEW R-Spec electronic 3 port boost
control Solenoid. This extremely compact Solenoid only has a 2 wire
installation and port connections are listed making installation very easy.
This is unit is supplied brand new and ready to fit. All of our 3 Port boost
control solenoids are full automotive specification and are all correctly
sealed & serviced to provide problem free boost control. Most other
solenoids available on Ebay (apart from Grimspeed & Cobb Tuning) all look
similar but are just general grade machine solenoids that are not designed for
automotive/under bonnet conditions.
The standard factory boost management relies upon on a
limited and inefficient actuator. When boost is increased beyond standard levels
with the use of aftermarket ECU’s and Reflash software etc, the standard
actuators normally fail to properly maintain boost resulting in spikes, drops
and unstable pressures. This can not only damage your engine but destroy any
potential performance gains.
The R-Spec 3 port valve is a true solenoid. It is rated to
hold boost pressures far in excess of levels that any petrol turbocharged
engine is ever likely to see. This product is especially useful for tuners
when increasing factory boost levels beyond standard. Using this valve in
conjunction with a remap etc avoids the extra cost normally involved in
additional tuning of standalone electronic boost controllers.
Available for most factory turbocharged applications as well
as a replacement for many aftermarket boost controllers.
