1944 JAEGER-LECOULTRE Vintage
Mens Midsize Watch, Beautiful Case - 14K Gold
Very
Fine Mens Watch - Handsome & Elegant - 1 Year Warranty
A fine mid-century wristwatch for the American
market from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Long ago Jaeger-LeCoultre built
their reputation as masters of watch design. This commitment to
stylistic excellence produced a number of exquisitely sculpted
watches (like the Reverso), and the company's tradition for beautiful
design continued to show-up in certain models of their later American
market watches like this knot lug watch, one of our favorite vintage
LeCoultre dress watch designs.
The knot lug LeCoultre showcased
in today's offering exhibits the style and precision one expects
from the 'Grande Maison'. The sculpted solid 14K gold case is
good condition. The dial is a vintage restoration. The hands have
been previously replaced. And the movement is clean and running
true.
We
have installed a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for
immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a
one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed
Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing
certificate.
