Headpiece: the functional advantage of Steinberger's headless concept
dramatically improves balance, ease of tuning, and tuning stability. All
Steinberger guitars feature the patented Double-Ball tuning system that
allows string changes in seconds. The Combo Headpiece accommodates both
Double-Ball and Single-Ball strings. Zero-fret: By using a zero-fret
instead of a traditional nut, intonation is improved. It also allows for
use of varied string gauges because there is no nut slot to widen.
Action at the first fret and beyond is more consistent and improved as

711106493824NEW-OTHER- This guitar doesn't have the original box- other than that it is a new guitar. THIS GUITAR IS NOT REBURBISHED OR B STOCK. This guitar is out of production and very hard to find in this excellent condition. MINT- Not
even a pick mark. I tested it once to make sure it worked properly and I
installed a new set of D'Addario 9.5-44 strings. That's it. The action
is flawless. I put it back in it's case where it has been since 2014
when I purchased it new. **FYI - you
can use any brand strings you prefer on these guitars. You are not
limited to the quick change/ ball on each end strings made by

Steinberger Synapse ST-2FPA TranScale Electric Guitar is a
professional-quality, full-scale, high-end guitar that's smaller and
easier to carry than most travel guitars. It is a 28-5/8' scale guitar,
it has an integrated rolling capo (that can be removed if you prefer),
and has a piezo/acoustic bridge for unprecedented flexibility. Play it
open and it's a baritone; roll the built-in capo up a couple of frets
and it's a normal 25-1/2" guitar. Add to this Steinberger's brilliant
design features such as the tune-it-once direct-drive double-ball bridge
with piezo pickup, EMG USA humbucking pickups, fold-down leg rest, and
graphite-reinforced neck with ultrafast phenolic fingerboard, and you've
got a truly advanced and infinitely playable instrument. Low-impedance
EMG USA humbuckers offer a broader bandwidth for unique and robust tone
and are mounted on stabilizers that keep them from tilting. Improved
intonation from a zero fret. Unique Steinberger Combo headpiece
improves balance, ease of tuning, and tuning stability while the
patented Direct-Drive double-ball bridge lets you change strings in
seconds then tune up once and not have to tune again until you change
