Impressive Latino American Pre-Columbian red clay, sculpture. First I like to explain that I am not Pre-columbian expert, has some knowledge, but I am from other art profession. Mostly I describe an item by my inner feelings and research . Sculpture represents Man of importance, could tell pose, face and decorative symbols around the neck and on the head. On a first sight I thought it is Aztec, Mayan Mexican figurine, but also reminds me on Peruvian Chimu people sculptures. Could be idol or priest. Also I did not listed it as ancient , because I am not sure about age, but could stand as antique. Nice, neatly done work with good proportion and symmetry. The sculpture is not solid, inside there is empty space and opening, whole, on the back part of  the head. Large dominating nose, ears with typical earnings and double bracelets on each hands. On some part of the body visible darker tone of baked clay. Traces of orange- red paint on the legs, arms and decorative elements. Expression of thinker, concentrated man. Bottom is flat . Please see all my pictures regarding condition and small details. Sculpture is 7.5" tall , 5" wide and 6" in depth. This Pre-columbian sculpture came from high level collectors home . I describe it to the best of my knowledge and attention to details. I am selling one more Pre-columbian idol, please visit my listing, those two faces are so similar , especially regarding the  big nose. If I got some new information I will update my listing, so please check it. Any info-clues from e-bay members are welcome. Do not hesitate to ask any additional question. Thanks for watching.
