Cups 2 3/8" diameter and Saucers 5" diameter
Marked with the Royal Copenhagen "Crown" trademark, "ROYAL COPENHAGEN, DENMARK" with the three wavy lines and the number 80.
All the pieces but one cup are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. However one cup has had the handle repaired - in the photo you can see where the glue has darkened where it was applied.
This well known pattern was designed by Arnold Krog and introduced in 1775. In this same year the Royal Copenhagen firm was founded in Denmark. Today this particular pattern is referenced as "Service #1" and has been in continuous production for more than two centuries.
