This is a very desirable, rare Vietnam War direct embroidered, modified camouflage ERDL uniform named to COL Robert Hyatt. 

Modified direct embroidered ERDL camouflage uniform with chest zips. In late 1966 Bob was ordered to the 9th Infantry Regiment, 25th Division in the Republic of Vietnam where he served as Battalion Commander until 1967 and was decorated with the Silver Star for distinguished gallantry in action; the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services; 5 Air Medals for meritorious achievement beyond that normally expected, while participating in aerial flight; and the Combat Infantryman Badge.

1971 to 1972 Bob was named a Senior Advisor with the Airborne Division, Army of the Republic of Vietnam and was decorated with a second Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services; and the Bronze Star Medal for distinguished heroism against an enemy. COL Robert Hyatt served with Team 162.

Next Bob was named Executive Officer of DOMS where he served from 1972 to 1973 and was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal and a second Meritorious Service Medal for conspicuously meritorious performance of duty in a non-combat situation.

Then from 1973 to 1975 Bob was appointed Commanding Officer of the 10th Special Forces Group and was awarded the Commendation Medal for distinguished service.

The pant's are not named to Hyatt, they were added to make up the set. The pants have tailored "pegged" legs and were purchased from a Rose bowl vendor. This jacket will be in a upcoming camouflage uniform book.
