This is a replica model of the West Side Lumber Co #12 train. It says on the side Tornado River Mining Co. #4 because it was changed to accommodate a western layout theme.
The Box label says Nakumura West Side Lumber Co. #12 HO Shay.

CONDITION: NEAR MINT – On extreme close examination I found some very fine exposed brass spots on edge or two, but you need to look for to see with a magnifier glass. Rarely used, tested, in perfect working order. No ware on wheels. A bit of minor tarnish on wheels and on the unpainted brass bottom. The train has been cleaned as best is possible and there is no dirt or dust.
All of the parts move as designed. The train was owned by my father who only ran it to show the grand kids on a few of the holidays. According to may father, the total it has been ran is no more than a hour and mostly has been on display. It is in amazing condition, especially a train that is 37 years old.
Reasonable justifiable market value offers only. Please no low ball offers. This is a very unique train and If you are looking to steal this wonderful quality brass train, please go somewhere else. All money will be donated to the grand kids to further their education.
