The zoom and focus rings turn smoothly, the autofocus is fast and tack sharp, and the VR is a lifesaver, especially if you plan to use it hand-held. The lens is amazingly sharp and the colors/contrast are superb. This is the ultimate wildlife/sporting lens! You will not be disappointed!
