Star Wars Vintage "Imperial Attack Base" (Hoth) Playset
This is a used "Imperial Attack Base" playset, complete with its original box, instructional manual, and removable pieces. It was released in 1980 as part of Kenner's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back line. It is being sold as is, so please take a look at the photos above.
It includes
- breakaway bridge
- mounted cannon (clicking sound still functions)
- removable command post (two pieces on top are also removable)
- original instruction manual (there is some sun damage; see last pic above)
- advertisement booklet for other Star Wars products from that time period
- box: I would say this box is in pretty rough shape (maybe C-4), it has fold marks and a few tears around the edges as well as a bit of discoloration. It still looks great on display, but it is certainly not in mint condition.
As stated, this toy is used, it is not mint in the box (MIB), but the playset and its pieces are in excellent condition considering their age and have been cleaned of dust prior to shipping. It will also be shipped disassembled, though it isn't hard to put the playset together (use the box as a guide). The base measures about 16" (40.6 cm) long.
The box says it's recommended for ages 4 and up due to choking hazards.
