Squier Stratocaster Vintage Modified 70's

With a body based off of one of the most notable guitars in history and dressed up in black, the Squier Vintage Modified ‘70s Stratocaster electric guitar looks wonderfully familiar. Squier tweaks the classic to give it a custom look and feel. Modified means adding new twists to familiar designs. Squier's Vintage Modified series excels at just that, imparting hot-output chop-shop sound, feel and value to traditional instrument designs.
.
The Vintage Modified Stratocaster electric guitar is constructed of basswood which has excellent sustain and a great resonance at mid and high frequencies. Three Duncan DesignedTM SC-101 single-coil pickups with black covers spruce up the look and sound of the guitar. Squier also included a maple fretboard, five-way pickup switch with black tip, three-ply pickguard, numbered volume and tone control knobs, vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge with vintage-style tremolo arm, vintage-style chrome tuners, chrome hardware and an engraved neck plate.

What was refurbished on this guitar?
There are a few light scratches on the pick guard from testing.  I have included a picture pointing to them but they are too light to see.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  All refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
