All components embellished with exquisite engravings give the elements more filigreed look and cause the incident light to literally dance on this watch.
The polished three-piece case is nonnative. The former has been spoilt and therefore replaced by another. The back lid of this watch is encased in transparent material that allows you to see the inner mechanisms of the watch working and to imagine all those parts of the watch in full view.
The winding crown is in excellent shape, operating smoothly.

HISTORY: In 1880, two brothers Cйsar and Louis-Paul Brandt rented a floor in the Bienne building to set up a modern watch production unit. The company that was called "Louis Brandt & Fils" (later "OMEGA"), began producing the watches, among the names of which was "Helvetia".
In 1885 "Louis Brandt & Fils" transferred the trade-mark 'Helvertia' to the new La Generale Watch Company.
