This Strat has been aged beautifully and has a few upgrades making it one of the nicest strats we've had in a long time.

Features of this Fender '62AV Reissue include:

I've had this one for a couple years now and didn't think I would sell it.  What an amazing tone machine!  This 2007 USA Fender American Vintage 62 Reissue  is a RELIC beauty and hard to put down.   I never liked the stock thinner Fender neck with the vintage thin frets & 7.25" radius that came on these AV62RI guitars. The previous owner replaced it with a USA Fender licensed which is nitro amber tinted, with a sweet dark rosewood fretboard, medium C neck profile, with a flatter 10" radius and medium/jumbo frets.  (Fender logo also applied to headstock) . After playing it once, I had to have it! What a difference this neck made to this strat.  Feels amazing with its meatier C profile. Plays fabulous with silky smooth bends due to the fatter frets.

I also had it aged (medium RELIC) to give it a real vintage look . The Olympic White Nitro finish has aged to a creamy yellow with lots of lacquer checking lines all over the body.  The original white pickguard was replaced with a more realistic 3 ply parchment grayish white pickguard which contrasts beautifully against the yellowed body.   From a few feet away this guitars looks 50 years old. 

After owning many high end custom builds (Nash, King Bee, K-Line, Fender Custom Shop, etc...) which cost anywhere from $2000 to $4500,  I ended up keeping this one based on its look, its feel and its sound.   Not a collector piece, but a strat that is meant to be played on stage without breaking the bank.  Weighs 7.85 lbs and will ship in a mint Gibson padded gigbag (or add $45 for the G&G hardcase shown).
