So check out this super cool motorized car!!! You vintage toy collectors going crazy yet??? I sure did when I pulled this baby out of a local estate clean out! Awesome shape considering the age although you must expect some wear and tear cuz this thing is awesome! Comes with a On/off for the siren too! Can't find that on the annoying toys of the present! Those vintage toy designers were genius!
The good: Great sound! Great light up action! Front right tire does not revolve all the way around to allow reverse and forward options. Bump and go action. 1:11 scale - over 12" long. Headlights go up and down as well as the pistons on back, and they light up! Windshield wiper moves back and forth across the windshield. Siren screams, thus the on/off switch!!! AND, there are 3 different siren settings: police car siren, emergency and ambulance sirens, at least according to the box. All three work and are excessively annoying thus the on/off switch! Ha, ha.
The bad: sticker issues - they are intact but peeling. The red and blues and the antenna lights are not functioning. The white surface of the car has some discoloration which I assume can be removed. There will be scuffs and scratches to the body as it has been played with. There are scratches on the windshield where the wiper swipes back and forth. And the last piston arm has broken although it appears it was just a stress break and if one were really steady at hand, repair with an epoxy might be possible. The box is rough.
