Omegas have an excellent reputation in modern times, and quite rightly so. They have been producing highly desirable watches since 1848 and obviously continue to do so today.  They represent excellent value as vintages, as of yet not commanding the second hand values of their counterparts, certainly not the prices they often deserve.

This is ladies automatic watch dating from 1965, the year can be determined by its serial number of 22572173.  It is the famous ‘Ladymatic’ model they produced for many years due to its unprecedented success.

The watch has a calber 671 movement with 24 jewels and an impressive two adjustments for positional accuracy.  The movement runs well and keeps good time as one would expect.

The gold plated case (approx 21mm excluding lugs and original signed winding crown) is in good condition as is the entire watch.

The silvered dial is again in excelent order and clearly reads 'Omega Ladymatic' in black print below the applied Omega logo in gold.  It has applied gold hour batons to match with contrasting black hands and a gold sweep centre seconds.

Thiis watch comes on a tan leather strap with gold coloured buckle to match the case.

Timekeeping and reliability are excellent as the watch has recently been serviced.

Thanks for looking and please do see my other watches to include more Omegas.
