This listing is for a near blooming size Masdevallia 'Machu Picchu' - a hybrid masdevallia with intensely-colored blooms - like magenta velvet. In my experience, this plant typically flowers mid-summer with gorgeous blooms.
I would expect this plant to flower next year once it adjust to your conditions. The plant for sale has leaves that are 6-7" tall, but leaves can reach 9"+ in length. Flower spikes will be over 12" with nice-sized colorful blooms.
Masdevallias are easy to grow. Provide bright/indirect light with some air movement. They like cooler temperatures and do well in a sphagnum moss/perlite or a fine bark/sphagnum moss mixture. Water as the potting mix approaches dryness but do not let the media totally dry between waterings. They like to be kept damp but not soggy.
