Vintage RUPP Services and Parts Manual

Offered is a HUGE vintage RUPP Service and Parts Manual. This dates at least back to 1969 as noted on some paperwork inside.

Still in it’s original binder-which is in excellent shape, are several sections of topics listed below.

Interesting reading and a reminder of my friends Go-Kart back in the sixties!

It seems that Service Bulletins sent to the Dealers would insert updates as many pages and topics of things like Accessories, Repairs, Assembly etc, are mostly dated different.

I notice the contents are not numbered sequentially. Most pages are in color yet some are white and there may be some copies? And should that be the case, it could be factory copies if that is in fact, true. Colors of the contents seem consistent as this old book is in surprisingly good condition. No greasy fingerprints, torn pages, etc. 

So, is it complete-I don’t know??

Does it have outdated information-well, at over 40 plus years old I would say the whole book is outdated!

But still, great reading and could be a great help to someone restoring or trying to identify what part goes where. It also lists what specific engine was used by model & part numbers used by both RUPP and Tecumseh!

I can also tell you there is a load of information on RUPP Mini Bikes, Go-Karts, The Ruppster, a Go-Kart with a body that looks like a Corvette called The Chevy Junior, Accessory Installation for headlights, a gas tank, several snowmobiles, parts, service etc, etc...etc. And there is a lot of info for the snowmobilers packed inside. Those were obviously more intricate and consisted of many more parts than the Karts and Mini-bikes.

Also included are a couple of after market catalogs from persons that dealt with this old stuff.

At almost 4 inches thick and 11-1/2 pounds, there must be something here for any RUPP enthusiast!

I was going to ship Media Mail however when insurance and signature delivery confirmation is added to the cost, Priority Mail is just a few dollars more and the package will normally arrive in 2-3 days. Media mail-who knows??
