Vintage Moog Prodigy analog synth in excellent working condition.  This model has been used by a variety of bands over the years, including Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Blur, Fatboy Slim, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, and many others.

This is the rare later version with all the external control ports added on the back (see last photo)!  Earlier versions have no ports at all back there other than the output jack.

The range of sounds you can get from this thing is mind boggling.  I'll include a photocopy of the manual, which shows you how to set the knobs and switches to get crazy tones such as "Thriller", "Baroque Trumpet", "Frankenfunk", "Pulsar", "Bowed Strings", and "Siren", among others.

All functions work perfectly, as far as I can tell.  Some of the white slider switch caps are missing, but the switches still work fine.

There are a few cosmetic issues consistent with 30+ years of service.  All are shown in the photos:  The left rear corner of the cabinet lost a small chunk of wood at some point and was patched with a different kind of wood.  The rubber feet are missing.  The cord has electrical tape around one spot.  The lowest key has a tiny chip out of it.  There are various scrapes and dings in the wood.

Some more description from Wikipedia:
"The Prodigy featured two Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs), one with a sawtooth waveform, a triangle waveform, and a rectangle waveform, the second with a sawtooth, a triangle, and a square waveform. These waveforms could be detuned up or down by more than a fifth, allowing for the creation of thick pads as well as atonal sounds. The two oscillators could be synchronized as well, then altered using the pitch wheel (in sync mode, the pitch wheel would alter the tonality of the sound, not the pitch. Roaring synth leads were made possible using this feature.)

The Prodigy was capable of a full range of synthetic sounds, from a gentle whistle or flute in the upper ranges, to sub-level bass (a sub oscillator allowed for very deep lows.) The voltage controlled amplifier (VCA) was controllable only via a 3 stage ADR envelope controller (ADR short for Attack Decay Release). The Prodigy did not feature a white noise or pink noise generator.

The Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) of the Prodigy featured a triangle and square waveform which could be routed to the VCO or VCF to create pitch or filter modulation effects."
