RS-232 opto isolator. Plugs in to standard 9 pin RS-232 port, offers protection from ground loop voltage, surges, hot plugging etc.

Transmission mode: Asynchronous, Full Duplex

Isolation voltage: 2500Vrms impulse or 500V DC continuous

Transmission rate: 300bps to 57600bps

Power supplied from RS-232 interface (TXD, RTS or DTR)
