CLAIMS FOR MANUFACTURER FAULTS, WARRANTIES & COMFORT GUARANTEES

All of the footwear we sell is new stock and covered by manufacture warranty, and most of our supplying manufacturers produce their products under ISO Australian Quality Standards. So if you find yourself in the unfortunate (and very rare) situation of needing to make a claim for a quality issue please follow these steps;

Firstly - Please be advised that Blundstone handle all claims for Manufacturing Faults and Comfort Guarantees directly! Please send details of your problem and several images, plus your receipt of purchase, directly to Blundstone at :

mwescombe@blundstone.com.au

For all other Manufacturers, please begin by sending an eBay Message explaining what the problem is.

We will respond with instructions for the next step, including access to a Warranty Claim Form. In most cases your will be asked to in initially send 3 or 4 images with your completed Claim Form, which clearly show the fault or damage. The images will be forwarded to the manufacturer. They will use the images to assess your claim. In some instances, they may ask for the footwear to be returned for closer inspection. - If that's required, please be aware that, as per Australian Consumer Law, you will be required to return the footwear to the 'place of purchase' (The Boot Warehouse) at your own expense.

If your claim is accepted by the manufacturer, they will either approve of replacement footwear to be sent, or a full (or part) refund to be paid.

If the manufacturer rejects your claim, we do not cover the cost of the return postage.

Our supplying manufacturers offer varying periods of time with regard to their Manufacturer Warranties, and some offer additional guarantees and warranties on some styles, or indeed on all of their range. It is too complex for us to list all of their extended and limited offers. For further information about specific Manufacturer warranties and guarantees, please visit the relative web pages.

GETTING YOUR SIZE RIGHT!

Whenever buying footwear online it is important to have a very good understanding of your own shoe size for the country where you live. If you know your size in either UK, US, EU or (Australian) AUS/UK Sizing, then you should have no problems ordering your correct size.

All Of The Footwear We Sell Is (Australian) AUS/UK Sizing - The Same As UK Sizing

So, for example if you know your Men's US Size, compare it to the AUS/UK Size in the Chart . . . and that's the size you order.

MEASURING YOUR FEET

If you are unsure of the Size you normally wear in any of those 'Sizing Types', then measuring your feet length will provide a guide as to what size footwear you need to order.

Following the simple guide below, measure 'both feet'. You will most likely find one foot is slightly longer than the other, which is quite normal. Then find your boot size on the Oliver Size Chart by comparing your foot measurement.

Please be aware that all boot and shoe manufacturer sizes vary slightly, and sometimes even vary between styles from the same manufacturer. So using this information is not foolproof and should be used as a guide only.

1. You'll Need A Large Piece Of Paper.

2. Stand With Your Heel Against A Flat Wall

3. Mark The Longest Distance From Your Heel To The Tip Of Your Toe. - Then Measure It

MEASURING TIPS

  • Always do both feet as quite often one foot is slightly longer than the other. (Use the longest measurement)
  • Always measure with socks or stockings on if shoes or boots are to be worn with them.
  • If the measuring result you get is 'in between' - go up a size.
  • If your feet have an unusually high instep or you have wider than normal feet, take the time to send us a message via 'contact the seller' before placing your order. We will be able to provide more information and advise you of alternatives.

If you still get it wrong, don't worry. We will always exchange for your correct size. However a few extra minutes spent checking now (and then double checking!), could save you delays, unwanted postage costs, and frustration later on.

FINALLY, SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT HALF SIZES

All Australian Boot Manufacturers produce their 'half size' boots at exactly the same length as the preceding 'full size'. As an example, a Size 9.5 boot is the same size in length as a Size 9 boot - The difference is in the girth (the width across the forefoot), which in the half sizes, is manufactured several mm wider than the preceding full size. So the half sizes 'feel' bigger, and are recommended for people with wider feet.
