This is a one wire hookup Upgraded Alternator with internal self exciting voltage regulator(No external Regulator required) simplifying your wiring.
This is a Direct bolt-in replacement similar to the original unit you are replacing. Wiring is simple because of the self-exciting regulator that uses only a 1-wire hookup.You will need only your main charging wire connected to the battery.

This alternator is perfect for small and big block Chevy engines,It fits almost all General Motors engines from the years 1965-1985 and many of the later model engines also.
