21 Jewel Elgin B. W. Raymond Railroad Watch.
This antique pocket watch is 16 size (case diameter 50 mm). The movement is an Elgin B. W. Raymond model with 21 jewels, lever set, adjusted 5 positions, etc. Movement condition is in very nice condition as shown. Original porcelain dial is excellent with no hairlines and no chips! Crystal is unbreakable replacement in excellent condition.
The case is 10K Gold Filledwith classic RR style pendant. The case is excellent with almost no wear. No brass, obviously. The case is the same model as used for many of the Elgin Railroads, but has extra screw head marks so is not original to this movement.
This is a very nice, vintage, Elgin Railroad pocket watch.
This watch runs and keeps reasonable time, but please be aware, I do not know the service history of this particular watch. This watch may, or may not, need to be cleaned and oiled soon.
