This reborn baby is the Sugar sculpt by artist Donna Rupert sold by Bountiful Baby.  She is 20" long with 3/4 arms, full legs and she weighs just under 5 pounds.  Her complexion has been created with many layers of Genesis heat-set paints; she has light mottling, blushing, shading, skin imperfections, tiny birthmarks, etc.  She has the appearance of a one-month old infant.  Her hair is medium blonde premium Ruby Red mohair and has been micro-rooted 1-2 hairs at a time in a natural growth pattern.  It has been glued from the inside of the head and can be gently styled using baby conditioner and a baby brush. Combs are not recommended to prevent hair loss.   Sugar has matching hand-rooted eyelashes.  Her nose has been shaded to create depth.  Her nails have been tinted, tipped, and sealed with air-dry gloss; her lips also have an air-dry varnish applied.  Sugar has a doe-suede body with string ties attaching her head, arms and legs.  Her arms, legs and head have been weighted with tiny glass beads and new polyfil; plugs are in place so the contents won't shift.  Her body has been filled with poly-pellets and new polyfil; she is cuddly when being held.  Sugar has a magnet inserted behind her mouth so she can take a magnetic pacifier.  She wears large newborn or small 0-3 month clothing.  She has a baby powder scented wafer inside her body so she smells like a real baby.  Her head needs to be supported as you would with a real baby.  Please note that Sugar is NOT a toy and care should be taken with her around infants and young children as well as with those who have pacemakers because of her magnets.
