This is a REAL Japanese sword. This was made over 200 years ago.
It is Japanese Edo era. This is old original. It is never imitation.
The classification of this is a middle sword WAKIZASHI.
This has a very good pattern on the sword blade called HAMON.
And this has a swordsmith's sign. It is engraved like this. "Hizen-koku-Saga-ju-TADAHIRO."
It means that a swordsmith TADAHIRO of SAGA prefecture made it.
This is a real old serious Japanese sword which the swordsmith made.

The surface has some wounds with light rusts. But edge has no serious damages.
There are not a nicked part of an edge called HAKOBORE.
Of course, there are no crack of an edge called HAGIRE.
I think that it becomes the clean good sword if it polishes it neatly again.

And this has a good sword mountings called KOSHIRAE.
Sword guard TSUBA is iron. It has a good iron taste.
The handle TSUKA with MENUKI and FUCHI-KASHIRA is real, too.
Of course, the lacquered sheath SAYA is real, too.
All are real things. It is never imitation. And this is a serious old KOSHIRAE.
