~ Cased Karl Zeiss Jena WW1 German Navy Binoculars ~
A pair of German WW1 era cased Naval brand binoculars by Karl Zeiss Jena.
The binoculars are marked with the Karl Zeiss logo on the left hand side, just above the eye piece.
The case is made from a fine black leather.
~ Dimensions ~
The binoculars stand at 4.2 inches (10.5 cm) when closed and 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) when fully extended. It has a width of 6 inches (15.2 cm) & a depth of 2 inches (5.2 cm).
The objective lenses measure 3.2 cm in diameter (of visible glass).
The case stands at 5 inches (12.7 cm) and measures 7 inches (17.7 cm) wide by 3 inches (7.7 cm) deep.
The binoculars, in their case, weigh 885 g.
~ Condition ~
There is some extremely minor wear to the metalwork, though the binoculars are in an otherwise excellent condition. The optics have been tested and are in excellent working condition with a good focus.
The case is in excellent condition for their age. There is some minor scuffing to the edges.
