KIEV 4M camera is later modification of the KIEV 3, being themselves copies of the Contax III 35mm camera. X-contact was added, body was modernised — the vertical dimension was reduced. All of the controls and layout will be familiar to Contax users.Camera has high characteristics. It is professional 35mm mechaniacal camera. Now is a time of electronics but Kiev is ready to work for the true amateurs of mechanical cameras. Besides any beginning photographer should work with mechanic before electronic. Camera is in good condition. Shutter speeds looks appropriate. Glass on lenses is clean, no fungus, no scratches. Focussing and stopping is smooth. Viewfinder is clean. Leather case shows some signs of use. Lightmeter alive, but no warranty that works properly. Selftimer is not work
