Soil inoculant might be helpful...

A legume is a simple, dry fruit contained within a shell or a pod; the most commonly cultivated legumes are peas, beans, peanuts, and alfalfa.

Soil Inoculant can be applied to legume seeds when planting and provides beneficial microorganisms (rhizobia) to help your plants utilize available nitrogen and increase plant health and production, especially in colder climates and in soils where there is no recent history of cultivation of this type of legume.

Rhizobia are legume specific; Tepary Beans, Pigeon Peas, Southern Peas (Cowpeas), Mung Beans and Lima Beans benefit from Bradyrhizobium ssp. (Vigna), which is available in our “N-Dure Premium Soil Inoculant For: Tepary, Pigeon Peas, Cowpeas and Lima Beans” and “Guard-N Garden Combo” product listings.

Soil inoculant may not be necessary for soil in warmer climates (USDA Zones 8a, and higher) where you have been able to productively grow this type of legume within the last two years, and your area has not experienced recent periods of untypically extreme heat, cold, or drought.

Soil inoculant may be beneficial or necessary for soil in colder climates (USDA Zones 7b, and lower) where you have not been able to productively grow this type of legume within the last two years, or if your area has experienced recent periods of untypically extreme heat, cold, or drought which have most likely reduced or destroyed the natural soil bacteria population.

Read item descriptions BEFORE you buy or bid-on anything!  We try to clearly describe our items. If you have any questions or want more information, please ask.

99 CENT PACKS:  Our “99 Cent Pack” format is designed to save you money when buying small quantities of two or more varieties of seeds for an average backyard garden.  If you only want one variety, or a large quantity seeds of different varieties, it is usually less expensive to purchase the item through our regular-priced item listings.  We are adding new 99 Cent Pack listings to our inventory as fast as we can.  If the variety you want is not already available in this format, let us know.  If we can offer at least 10 seeds for 99 cents, we’ll create the listing as soon as possible.  99 Cent Packs are shipped via USPS First Class Package service with Delivery Confirmation for a flat rate of $2.60 per order, no matter how many 99 Cent Packs you purchase.

CLEARANCE - SALE ITEMS:  We’re constantly adding new items to our product line, however, our space is limited.  Sometimes we are simply overstocked with a particular item, and sometimes our suppliers will change the available formats of specific seed varieties (typically changing between organic/non-organic, treated/untreated formats, etc.).  We periodically reduce “overstocked” items or retire “older format” items from our product line.  When we reduce or retire items, we try to offer our entire excess stock of that particular variety or format in a “Clearance - Sale” listing.

SEEDS SOLD BY WEIGHT: In most of our seed listings, seeds are sold by weight (usually in grams, ounces, or pounds), not by an exact seed count.  An approximate seed count, shown by a "~" (tilde/squiggle sign), is provided for each available weight option based on samples taken for that variety...for example: 30g (~20 Seeds).  We try to overfill all orders, depending on availability, but do not guarantee that you will get the exact number of seeds approximated.  We do guarantee that the weight of the seeds we ship will be equal to or more than the weight you ordered.

SEEDS SOLD BY QUANTITY: In some of our seed listings, seeds are sold by quantity.  A minimum seed count is provided for each available option…for example: 10 Seeds.  We still try to overfill orders, depending on availability, so you will almost always receive more seeds than you ordered.

CONDITION: All plant items are fresh, properly stored and free from disease.  Germination, rooting and plant care are subject to many factors (your climate. light, moisture, soil, humidity, skill of the grower, etc.).  These factors are beyond our control and all seeds, plants and cuttings are supplied on this basis.

RESTRICTIONS: All plant items are legal and unrestricted in Mississippi, USA. Buyers must adhere to their local state/country rules and restrictions.  By bidding on or purchasing items, buyers signify they have verified these items are legal and unrestricted at their location.  We will not refund money for items held, confiscated or destroyed by local customs authorities.

PAYMENT: Payment is expected within 3 days of purchase.  If you need longer to pay, no worries, just let us know.

MULTIPLE ITEMS: Where possible, we combine items for shipment.  Larger or multi-item orders may take longer to process and ship.

SAME DAY SHIPPING: We try to ship all orders as fast as possible.  In most cases, orders received before 11 am (Central) are packed and shipped on the same day.  All orders are weighed and packed by hand and larger or multi item orders may take slightly longer to process.  Our package pick-up time varies from day-to-day, but is usually between 12 (noon) and 3 pm Monday through Saturday.

SHIPMENTS: We ship via US Postal Service Monday through Saturday.  All orders are properly packaged to protect the contents during shipment.  All packages are shipped with Delivery Confirmation (U.S.) or Customs Form (International).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COSTS: International buyers, please request a corrected invoice before paying to ensure you are not overcharged on postage; the postage calculator will use the largest weight option for each listing when calculating postage!  If the amount paid does not cover postage, we will notify you and request additional postage.

CONTACT US: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, contact us and we will work to resolve the issue. We try to be as accurate as possible, but sometimes we make mistakes.
