"So, I dug and dug and came up with some 30 year old AZO paper !
Expiration date 1980 and not refrigerated, kept on a back shelf in a
closet where temp reaches 90 plus in summer. Oh well, I printed some
with my pyro negatives and I was blown away. Despite all that I have
learned in 30 years, I couldn't match the look with even my expensive
Bergger cloro-brom paper, Agfa, Forte, MG, Oriental--anything. The AZO
prints were alive and the local separation was wonderful. Green grass
had almost the separation of an infrared photo. All this on ancient 20
year out-of-date paper."
Up for Auction
is for one 50-sheet box of Kodak AZO F2s Glossy single weight 11X14 inch "Contact Printing Paper". Paper has no Expiration Date. It has been stored in a Cool, Dark Room since I purchased it in July 1998. Paper was probably manufactured in the late 1990's. I opened the cases (see photo 4) to make the above Photos, and the boxes appear to be in excellent condition, with the seals intact. Since I no longer have an 11x14 Camera, I'm giving those who do and shoot Black and White an opportunity to own and use this beautiful Paper. The 3 Large Brown Boxes in Photos 4 and 6 each contain 10 (Unopened) 50-sheet Boxes of this fine Paper. Please note that as of October 15, 2016, there are only 6 Boxes left of the original 30 Boxes.
